January- Olivia and Dhani sues a $10 million lawsuit against Dr. Gilbert Lederman who betrayed their trust during George's last days by giving press interviews and bringing his three children in to meet George and insisting George sign autographs. Olivia and Dhani also seek for the guitar they claimed the doctor coerced the dying star to sign.
February 8- Olivia attended the Grammy Awards to accept George's behalf of the President's Award for the Beatles in Los Angeles, California with Yoko, who was accepting on John’s behalf while Ringo and Paul sent in their taped speech.
